Chord Project

This is my final update for the chord project. I didn't had to much from my last update just a little bit. What I had in my mind before didn't sound so great when I actually put it in the song so I kept it out. I wanted to put a triangle, a suspended cymbal, and maybe a few different shaker parts but like I said, wasn't a big fan of them. I did carry the string bopbass on for the ending which I personal love the sound when it is blended with the lead part. The two together is just great. When the second pattern of the bopbass comes up at 52secs, I decide to have that just in the way back of the other sounds. The point of it is just so you barely hear it but it is still there. Then when that pattern repeats it comes back at normal volume. That is pretty much it. I hope you enjoy.

  1. I like the slight embellishment of the piano in this one, but I would have really liked to have heard a complete melody bringing out the sound of the Ionian mode. the bass was a nice touch, but could have been louder in the mix.
